Job summary

Allied Universal in Liberty Township, OH is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Mornings for a part-time shift. You will provide security, patrols, and customer service at a retail location, driving as needed with a valid driver's license.

This position offers a pay rate of $18.25 per hour and a daytime schedule Wed and Thur 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role emphasizes a friendly, professional, and safety-focused presence within our community.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as needed.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
