Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced (Part-Time) in Liberty Township, OH. This role provides flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will deliver customer service to visitors and staff, conduct patrols around the site, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and document activities.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Liberty Township, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
