Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Lobby Alarm Response in Burbank, CA. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front desk by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying credentials, issuing passes, and directing visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Answer phones, provide information, receive deliveries, and support administrative tasks.

• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff at the front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals to appropriate building areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity, observe building entry points and lobby areas, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Answer phones, provide general building information, receive deliveries, and support administrative tasks consistent with commercial real estate location requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
