Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Lobby Visitor Direction in Los Angeles, CA to greet residents, visitors, and vendors, support access control, and uphold badge procedures at a commercial real estate front desk.

You'll deliver exceptional customer service, respond calmly to incidents, and maintain accurate logs while following site-specific security policies to keep the property safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
• Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, receive deliveries, and communicate relevant information to building management and appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and report unusual conditions or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
