As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with established residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities through required reporting procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
