What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, deliveries, and service personnel in accordance with community procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and access-related records, and communicate unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
