Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Coordinator in Orlando, FL. This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors following security procedures.

• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Coordinator in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for vehicles, residents, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or delivery records and communicate access-related concerns to site management and appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
