Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following entry, parking, and guest management procedures.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity at a community association location, following established entry, parking, and guest management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of community buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
