Allied Universal is looking for a Security Officer – Part Time Identity Verification in Murfreesboro, TN. This role provides reliable hours at a designated site with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.33 per hour. Schedule includes Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a fixed-shift commitment and the possibility to grow into more shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and report access concerns.
• Control entry/exit of vehicles, personnel, and deliveries to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and facility perimeter.

As a Security Officer Part Time Identity Verification in Murfreesboro, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter; report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, or security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
