The position involves customer service, access control, and monitoring of a manufacturing/industrial site. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support site entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Complete security-related reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Verification in La Fayette, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support site entry and exit procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete security‑related reports, maintain accurate daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
