Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for hospital access control in Brunswick, OH. You will monitor hospital areas, deter security incidents, and provide high-quality customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling facilities, monitoring access points, and supporting a welcoming environment while adhering to hospital policies.

Formación

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check may be required by law.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply in some states.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
