• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license. Help deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and responsive security-related support while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused culture and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
