Job summary

Allied Universal in Juno Beach, FL is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Access Control Patrol. You will safeguard clients, conduct patrols, and support access control with clear communication and documentation using our technology tools.

This role offers a flexible schedule (Mon night and Fri night shifts) and a focus on exceptional customer service at a critical utilities location. Must have a guard card and at least 2 years of security experience.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Guard card is required.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
