Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

• Guard card is required.

• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Juno Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.


• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.


• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.


• Guard card is required.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
