Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Myerstown, PA. You will maintain fixed shifts and have the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site.

This position offers part-time hours with the possibility to scale to a full-time schedule, typically involving weekend shifts. You will support client sites with security procedures, access control, and incident response while advancing

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license needed for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response as needed at a logistics/distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials, maintain logs for visitors and contractors, and control entry/exit of personnel, drivers, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations per site reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with site variations by location.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, and incidents; communicate to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Myerstown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Security Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112) to be considered for employment. This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and cover letter.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel, drivers, and delivery vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activities, access‑control events, and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
