Allied Universal® in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Visitor Registration to greet visitors, verify access, and maintain a secure front desk in a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This part‑time role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to earn more through our shift-claim platform.

You will provide courteous customer service, monitor entry points, and respond calmly to incidents following established emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, receive and direct calls, and communicate professionally with building personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
