Job summary

Allied Universal in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Emergency Support. You will welcome visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and monitor entry activity to help maintain a secure and professional environment.

As part of a dynamic tech/telecom location, you will provide exceptional customer service, respond to incidents calmly, and collaborate with teammates to ensure the safety and efficiency of daily operations. Training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Provide front desk customer service at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor registration, issue temporary credentials, and direct guests per access-control requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records while supporting a professional and welcoming reception environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:
