Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Visitor Assistance in Leawood, KS to greet visitors, manage access, and maintain a secure lobby environment at a technology and telecommunications site.

You will provide professional customer service, monitor entry activities, and respond to incidents while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing temporary credentials, and following site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, communications, and security-related equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate to appropriate contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting security procedures and site policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology and telecommunications location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
