Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a part-time Front Desk Security Officer to greet visitors, verify access, and maintain a safe, professional environment.

As a Part Time Front Desk Attendant, you will manage visitor records, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents with calm, customer-focused service. Flexible night shifts and opportunities to earn more through our shift-claim platform are available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate office location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Manage front desk operations by greeting guests, verifying access credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals to appropriate offices or contacts.
• Monitor building entry points, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other front desk records while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
