Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Orlando, FL to support security operations at a retail location. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents according to site policy.

Requirements include a minimum of one year in security, HS diploma, and passing background checks and drug screening where allowed. Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the retail location, greet visitors, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with the protection of high-value merchandise and support a professional, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:
