Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Wilmington, DE. You will greet visitors, manage access control, badge management, and respond to security concerns at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

This role offers flexible day shifts, a welcoming team, and opportunities to grow through training and our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming front desk presence and comply with site-specific security procedures, visitor management, and access-control requirements.
• Greet visitors, verify credentials, issue passes, and maintain entry/incident documentation.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Provide customer service to employees and visitors while deterring unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management protocols, and access-control requirements.
• Greet visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communications systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests within a technology, media, and telecommunications-focused location while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
