Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors at the front desk while following site security procedures.
• Monitor facility access by greeting visitors, checking credentials, and maintaining logs.
• Answer and route calls, receive deliveries, and communicate service requests to staff.
• Monitor cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and other front-desk equipment and report issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures and notify appropriate personnel.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
• Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate visitor arrivals or service requests to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and other assigned front-desk equipment; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
