Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Tablet Reception Security Officer in Wilmington, DE. You will greet residents and visitors, monitor access, and maintain accurate records to support a safe, welcoming environment at a residential location.

The position offers a weekend night schedule (Sat 11:00 PM – 05:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM – 05:00 AM) with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe front desk activity and building entry areas, report unusual activity or hazards.
• Receive and relay calls, messages, and service requests maintaining a professional front desk presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor logs and related records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Observe front desk activity and building entry areas, report unusual activity or hazards, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Receive and relay calls, messages, and service requests in accordance with site procedures while maintaining a professional front desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
