Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is hiring a part-time Flex Security Officer to patrol multiple client sites in Lemont, IL. The role involves guarding people, property and assets, monitoring access, and responding to emergencies while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrates strong customer service, communication, and quick decision-making under pressure. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Wage: $18.50-$20.00/Hour

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
