Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security Flex Officer - Part Time in Springfield, IL to support short-term assignments across multiple site locations. You will provide access control, monitor activity and deliver strong customer service during peak periods, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma OR GED.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Conflict resolution & de‑escalation skills preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
• Must have reliable transportation & communication.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for short-term special security assignments.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, holidays, etc.
• Assist in start-ups at new accounts including training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
• Weekend and holiday availability needed.
• Provide high level customer service to our clients & their guests.
