Securitas USA is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Vernon Hills, IL. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Location is on-site with weekend shifts. The position requires 18+ age, a high school diploma or GED, and good computer skills. Training is provided, with benefits and weekly pay offered.

Security Officer - Part Time

Location: Vernon Hills, IL

Wage : $18.00/HR

Schedule : Saturday & Sunday 4pm-12am

No Experience Necessary

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
