Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a part-time Flex Security Officer in Lemont, IL. You will protect people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus; must pass pre-employment screening and background checks.

Formación

• Strong computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Protect confidential information and property from unauthorized access.
• De-escalate conflicts and manage tense situations.
• Perform access control at entrances/exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and security equipment.

Security Officer Part Time Flex

Primary Site Location: Lemont, IL

Wage: $18.50-$20.00/Hour

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
