Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as per laws.
• Background histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior areas, entry points, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, entry points, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
