Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and emergency response when needed
• Monitor access points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; review credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter
• Report unusual activity, access control concerns, and facility-related hazards to site contacts to deter unauthorized entry

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; review credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report unusual activity, access control concerns, and facility-related hazards to appropriate site contacts while helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
