Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX to support front-line access control at client sites. You will provide customer service to visitors and employees, monitor entry points, and maintain logs while staying visible to deter security incidents.

The role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform; background checks and licensing/drug-screen requirements apply. 18+ age and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required before employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, receiving areas, and perimeters per client site.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and protect controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, receiving areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
