Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the location according to site procedures.
• Inspect packages and items, document prohibited items and incidents via reporting channels.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Inspect packages, parcels, and other items as directed, documenting prohibited items, irregularities, and incidents through required reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, employee entrances, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
