Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time entry screening role in Taylor, PA. You will help control access, verify credentials, and provide courteous service to clients, visitors, and staff at a logistics/distribution site.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, escalating unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
