Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard Card/License preferred; background check subject to law.
• Able to pass drug screening as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and team members while conducting screening procedures.
• Screen individuals, packages and belongings entering designated areas using approved procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted zones.
• Identify and report prohibited items or suspicious activity to site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and conduct regular patrols of assigned areas.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, report suspicious activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and belongings entering designated areas using approved screening equipment and established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted operational and distribution areas.
• Identify and report prohibited items, unusual activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
