Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Entry Authorization Security Officer in Lumberton, NJ to safeguard clients across healthcare facilities. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and respond to incidents with professionalism and a focus on patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include experience with alarm panels.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law where applicable.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, unsecured access points, and unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and other security-related observations.

What You'll Do:
