• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations per site procedures.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel, drivers, and vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
