Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Greensboro, GA. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and optional additional shifts across sites to boost earnings.

• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/incident records.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, residents, guests, and emergency responders.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, amenities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor and incident records.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, residents, guests, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
