As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of activity in and around the location to help deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
