Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, and other security duties that support a positive retail environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.21 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sun: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and vacant spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, and other security-related duties that support a positive retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
