Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role at a shopping mall in Greendale, Wisconsin. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors.

The position requires a valid driver's license for driving posts, and applicants must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence for the retail environment.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
