Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Perimeter Checks in Santa Clara, CA. You will conduct patrols of residential communities, monitor access points, and assist residents and visitors with professional service.

A flexible part-time schedule supports daytime shifts and weekend coverage, with opportunities to earn through our shift-claim platform. Requirements include at least 1 year in security, a valid driver's license, and preferred Guard Card or badge experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the residential community.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
