Job summary

Allied Universal in Auburn, WA is looking for a Security Officer – Part Time Driver Patrol to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site with opportunities to earn more through additional shifts.

The role supports a path toward full-time schedules with the industry leader. Responsibilities include customer service, patrolling, incident reporting, and access control, with minimum requirements of security experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and assist with access control, customer directions, and other security-related support as assigned.

As a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol in Auburn, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
