As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support loss prevention efforts. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while documenting observations and responding to incidents. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

1. Valid Driver's License Requirements

• AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123): Candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the local regulations.
• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124): Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license that is recognized in the state where the job is located.

2. Additional Qualifications (Beneficial to Position)

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Experience with access control systems and badge management is advantageous.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is a plus for relevant positions.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets for job-related tasks is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service roles is beneficial for positions that require interaction with clients or customers.
• Loss Prevention (B210): Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is advantageous for roles focused on security and safety.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
