• Monitor front-desk access by greeting visitors, verifying IDs and authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, assist visitors, and communicate professionally with site personnel, vendors, and delivery drivers.
• Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

1. Valid Driver's License:
   • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
   • Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).
2. Access Control/Badge Experience:
   • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).
3. Alarm Panel Experience:
   • Familiarity with alarm panel operations is required (B202).
4. Technology Proficiency:
   • Candidates must be comfortable using computers or tablets for daily tasks (B204).
5. CPR Certification:
   • A valid CPR certification is mandatory (B205).
6. Customer Service Experience:
   • Candidates should have a background in customer service (B219).
7. Loss Prevention Experience:
   • Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is preferred (B210).

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, assist with visitor inquiries, and communicate professionally with site personnel, vendors, and delivery drivers.
• Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
