Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver for Lima, OH. You will provide security services, patrol facilities, and assist with access control to maintain a safe environment at an industrial site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to complete a background check and drug screen as per policy.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Observe and report hazards and policy violations to site contacts.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
