Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and control access to authorized areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and escalation as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Door Control in Crystal Springs, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points to help identify unauthorized activity or security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access‑control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
