Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Communications in Wilmington, DE. This role provides flexible, fixed-shift base hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more.

You will support security operations, dispatch communications, and incident response at a financial institution, with responsibilities including monitoring systems, logging activity, and customer service for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Criminal history considered per law.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21 (armed).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document relevant details, and coordinate the timely routing of security-related personnel and resources.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and other security‑related systems, reporting unusual activity and supporting a professional environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Communications in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.74 / Hour

Job Schedule

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
