Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols within the financial institution’s areas including lobby, parking, perimeter, and other assignments.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate with supervision and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Response in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution, including the lobby, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
