Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordination in Wilmington, DE to provide reliable, fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, and service requests, dispatching appropriate personnel and maintaining clear communication during routine and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor information, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications to appropriate contacts as directed.
• Monitor security-related systems, including cameras, alarms, and access-control activity, and report unusual conditions or concerns according to site policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordination in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
