Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records, and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets as part of their daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Navigating operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
    • Utilizing software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
    • Accessing and managing email communications
    • Conducting online research and utilizing web-based tools
  • Candidates may be required to complete a skills assessment to verify their comfort level and proficiency with technology.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):

  • Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which may include roles in retail, hospitality, call centers, or any position involving direct interaction with customers.
  • Key competencies include:
    • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Problem-solving abilities
    • Empathy and active listening
    • Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
