Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify ID and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, answer calls, provide site information, and notify personnel of arrivals.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per emergency procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity or policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and direct calls, provide general site information, and notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
